our story
Likha is a Tagalog word that means “to create.”
It felt right for a brand built from the ground up, from the first idea for a formula to the moment each product is filled and labeled by hand.
Likha Rituals began with a simple belief: taking care of yourself should not begin with looking for something to fix.
That belief grew out of my own experience with skincare, but it quickly became bigger than that. It changed the way I thought about personal care as a whole. I wanted products for face, body, and hair that felt thoughtful, effective, and enjoyable to use, without making people feel like they were always falling short.
Every Likha product is made in small batches by a single formulator. I choose each ingredient for what it brings to the formula, whether it comes from a plant, a mineral, or modern cosmetic science.
I do not add ingredients just because they sound impressive or look good on a label. I also do not leave them out simply because their names sound scientific.
Botanicals and cosmetic chemistry are not opposites. They each bring something different, and our formulas respect both.
We also believe personal care should fit into real life.
It does not have to mean ten steps, complicated instructions, or a routine that feels like another job. Sometimes it is simply a few quiet minutes to cleanse, care for yourself, and pay attention to how the product feels, smells, and moves across your skin or hair.
Those moments may be small, but they still matter.
Every skin type belongs here.
Oily skin is not a problem. Sensitivity is not a flaw. Mature skin is not in decline. Balanced skin is not the standard every other skin type should be measured against.
Skin changes. Hair changes. Bodies change.
Our job is not to criticize those changes. It is to create thoughtful products that help you care for yourself through them.
Simple, intentional care.
That is what Likha Rituals is for.
With care,
Tania
