Add a few drops of water and watch marshmallow root and slippery elm bloom into a soft gel paste. The mucilage, a gel-forming plant compound, in both plants sits on the skin surface like a second layer, cushioning and protecting rather than drawing or stripping. Colloidal oats calm reactivity underneath. Roman chamomile, high in apigenin and bisabolol, quiets redness and the visible signs of reactive skin.
Leave five minutes. Rinse. Skin feels settled, not stripped or over-treated. Fragrance-free and formulated for the most reactive complexions, including those that find most masks too active.

Place 1 tsp powder in palm. Add a few drops of water or chamomile hydrosol and mix to a smooth paste. Apply to clean face, avoiding eye area. Leave 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Follow with face mist and face oil.

A: This is formulated specifically for reactive skin; no AHAs, no enzymes, no exfoliants, no essential oils. Patch test on the inner arm first, and watch for oat sensitivity if relevant.
Q: What should I activate it with?
A: Chamomile hydrosol adds extra calming depth. Rose hydrosol works well too. Avoid anything acidic as it counteracts the soothing effect.
